Dear Josef, 
Enclosed are two pictures, one from Ardez, the other 
from the Morteratsch (is that the spelling?). It was 
very nice to have seen you again and found you in such excellent 
shape. We had a very pleasant time in Budapest; are now 
back in California, busy getting our house ready for the 
tenants who will stay here while we are in Oxford. 
Our address there will be All Souls College; it 
would be nice if you would visit England while we are still 
there (during the Michaelmas Term). During the 2nd half of 
December we plan to go sightseeing in Egypt, spend Christmas 
in Paris and get back here on New Year's day.
