A-1050 Wien, Schwarzhorngasse 10/17
Nov. 28, 1984
Dear Sandro,
I have not answered before because I wanted to send you
the^ctFal't of my paper for the Sraffa congress which took
me a bit longer than I had hoped, but I incltide it now
frith this letter. I do not want to burden you, but it you
happen to have time I would be most grateful for any comments
you may have. I have still a lot of time to do more \/ork on
it so criticism however scathing will be extremely useful.
As I said I feel a littlle outside my field in writing this.
I thank j»ou very much for the text of your Vienna paper
on Italy. I don't understand why you have any scruples about it,
it is exceedingly useful for us here. I only regret that you
made it shorter by leaving out the anectodical and incidental
matter which you had in your speech and which was enlivening.
A3 far as my Trieste paper on structure is concerned I shall
keep it for you and I hope to get round to finish it
somehow, without shanging very much. I am reading Sable -Piore
The second divide which is exceedingly interesting to me.
I was in Groningen with Jan Kregel, It seems to me the
future of the school is none to bright. Well, good things
never last long. I am getting to like Kregel more.
I hope you are well and in good spirits.
Kind regards to you and your wife
lours,
