Dear Josef,
I have now received and read our piece on
’monetarism'. It now reads much better and I
think, our central arguments come through fairly
clearly. As one of the writers, I am, of course,
already convinced by those arguments - let us see
whether we can convince others Incidentally,
do please let me know as soon as you hear from
Cambridge Journal.
It was really a great pleasure to have
another chance to see both you and the Laskis.
I am sorry I had to turn down Kazi's offer of
coming to Linz for a few weeks - my present
commitment at the University here will simply not
permit it. I sent him a cable and a letter just
after Christmas explaining this; hope he has
received them both by now.
With all the very best and hoping to meet
again in the near future.
Yours sincerely,
fHrnF
