Dear Josef* 
This is just a short note to wish you well 
and enquire about your health. Also* I wonder if 
there might possibly a chance of seeing you next summer. 
An old friend* Lorie Tarshis, and I have decided to write 
a textbook on macroeconomics together; and as a preparation 
for that we shall spend a month together on an island off 
the Italian coast in a villa^an; ex-student of ours is 
lending us. After that* we have a week until the 
departure of our charter flight from Zurich to Oakland* 
California; 4 days of which we shall be spending in 
Sils Baselgia in the Engadin. I know that you often go to 
Switzerland in August; is there a chance of your being 
there this coming summer; and if so* is there a chance of 
seeing you? We shall be in Sils from August 8 to 11 and 
our plane leaves Zurich on August 14# Should you bel #tM : ^ ^

P.S. Please reply to our home address. My teaching duties 
at Santa Cruz have ended for the year & I do not get down 
there until next September; but their stationery is the 
only air-mail stationery I have.
