Dear Josef,
This is mainly to tell you about our summer plans
so that we shall have a chance of seeing each other. First of all,
we shall be in Vienna, staying at the Hotel Konig von Ungarn in the
Schulerstrasse between July 12 and 20. We shall be in Sils from
August 3 to 18, staying the first week in the Seraina, the 2nd week
in the Privata; and we are now thinking of going to Zermatt, where
we have never been for August 19 to 26. The absence of cars in
Zermatt sounds appealing and by that late in August there should not
be too many tourists. We certainly hope to see you in Vienna, and
it would be wonderful to see you also in Switzerland.
Let me just add that I encouraged a friend and former
student, Avi Braverman, to look you up. He is an exceptionally nice
person and a very sensible economist as well. Despite his youth, he
is just as disgruntled with modern economics as we are; and I think
you will like him.He is an Israeli.
Elisabeth sends you her regards and we both look forward
to seeing you very soon.
As ever,
