Dear Josef, 
Elisabeth and I will be coming through and staying in 
Vienna for a few days in May and are greatly looking forward to 
having an opportunity to see you. We shall be there from 
Saturday, May 23 to Wednesday, May 27, on which day we leave 
very early in the morning; and I would like to ask you the 
favor of getting us tickets to a good play (or even two if 
there are two good plays) for any day between Saturday and 
Monday inclusive. I am asking for plays, not concerts, because 
music is pretty good here also; but we are starved of good 
theatre. 
Incidentally, as I have already let you know, I 
believe, we shall be in Sils from August 12th until the 16th; 
and we are also planning so spend a few days before then in the 
Ticino, in a tiny place called Caslano just outside of Lugano. 
The Ticino valley is supposed to be very beautiful; and since 
we have never been there, we want to have a look at it. 
But more of that when we see you, in about six weeks' 
time.
