Foreign-language publications
Titles of books, articles and journals are capitalized according to the
conventions of their respective languages. Foreign-language designations for
vol., pt, no., pp., and so on, should preferably be translated into English but
where there is no direct equivalent they are best left in the original. All
such designations should be either consistently translated or consistently left
in the original. For foreign cities, use the English name where it exists for
the place of publication: Vienna (not Wien), Cologne (not Kdln), Rome (not
Roma), Munich (not Mtlnchen) , The Hague (not s' Gravenhage), and so on.
