I am happy to inform you that the proofs for the book "Essays 
on Piero Sraffa - Critical Perspectives on the Revival of 
Classical Theory", i.e. the proceedings of the Sraffa Confer 
ence in Florence, 1985, have been sent to the publisher, 
Unwin Hyman Limited. The editorial task has in this case been 
extremely complicated: because of several revisions, because 
of later contributions, because a joint bibliography for the 
volume as a whole has been produced, and also because it is 
not so easy for two editors to collaborate efficiently if one 
teaches in India, the other in Germany. 
However, I hope that the result will well be worth the ef 
fort. The book is scheduled to be published in autumn. If you
