This college has recently appointed as Research 
Lecturer for 3 years from October a Mr. Joseph Steindl who 
has been a lecturer in Vienna. 
He tells me that he applied for a British Visa to 
the Consulate at Vienna four weeks ago but has heard nothing. 
Jould anything be done to expedite this visa. It is 
important to us that he should arrive in this country before 
the beginning of term i.e. October 6th.
