A preferred date for the lecture would be the second half of October or first half of November 
2001, since this coincides with Professor Rothschild’s birthday who will turn 87 this coming 
October. Other dates in the Fall of this year could also be agreed upon according to your 
availability. 
We would, of course, cover your travel expenditures (flight, accomodation in Linz) and offer 
you a honorarium of ATS 10.000. We are well aware that the latter is to be seen more as a 
very modest recognition of your effort and by no means anywhere near a true payment for 
your work involved.
