. Bank is responsible for the monies collected only as and when
received m cash m London; it cannot nndertake to remit in special bills for
each collection or to accept against such proceeds of collections; it is not res-
ponsible for documents passing trough its hands, nor does it accept responsi-
1 ity in regard to goods representing drafts, nor does it guarantee the acts
omissions, or solvency of its agents or correspondents, or the remittances made
by them, nor will it be responsible for differences in exchange betwcen time of
collection and time renuttance, nor for immediate remittance after collection in
places where good and approved bills are scarce, though in each case everv
care will be given to the interests of the drawers.
Commission for collection without guarantee:—
Vi Per Cent, on City of Mexico.
Va per Cent. Puebla, Vera Cruz, Guanajuato, Queretaro, San Luis’
Potosi, Guadalajara, Mazatlan, Morelia, and Monterey, Torreon.
1 per cent. on the other principal cities of Mexico where this Bank
has Agents.

Boss by local exchange, i.e., in remitting from a sub-agency to an
agency will (when meurred) be charged to the customer.
The above rates of Commission, with Postages, Bill Stamps, &c., will
be charged whether the bills sent out be paid or not.
