Enclosed "c hand you for shipments as at foot 
consigned to you by Messrs of.... 
We band you these documents on tbe express understanding that you will 
bold tbe same, the goods represented thereby, and the net proceeds thereof, 
respectively, in trust for this Bank; that on their arrival you will have the 
said goods landed, duly stored, and insured against fire, holding the policy 
for our account; that you will specifically remit direct to this Bank 
in first dass Bank Bills, bearing your endorsement, the net proceeds 
of all sales by first mail after their receipt; and further that, in case 
the proceeds should not be equal to the amount of the draft for £ 
due (or renewals thereof), which we have accepted as an advance 
against the said shipment , plus interest, Commission, and any other charges to 
which we may be entitled, you guarantee to cover us for the difference. 
Proceeds may also be remitted by Telegraphie Transfers for approximate amounts, 
balances to be adjusted by draft sent by following Mail. 
You are at liberty to follow the directions of the above named 
shippers as regards realizing the said shipment , but it is to be understood 
that the said documents“/ goods are to be always'held at our dis- 
posal, subject to any directions which we may subsequently communicate to you. 
The accounts for these goods are to be kept separate from all 
others, and the proceeds are also to be kept distinct and are not 
to be mixed up with any other funds or property whatever, but are 
to be remitted to this Bank as aforesaid. 
The enclosed letter of lien forms please return to us by successive 
mails, duly completed.
