1. The vessel to be ordered at buyers’ Option to any good and safe Port in

2. If ordered to any Port in the United Kingdom but London or Liver
pool, or on the Continent, the price to be
per cwt., nett weight, as delivered over ship’s side, with real tare and no draft.
The damaged, loose Rice and sweepings, if any, to be taken at fair allowances
to be decided at Port of discharge by two independent parties, one to be nominated
by the sellers and the other by the buyers, with power to appeal to an umpire in
case of dispute.
3. Payment by cash in London:—nine-tenths of provisional invoice on
arrival of Vessel at Port of discharge, upon presentation of Bills of Lading and
Policies of Insurance covering risk from shore to shore, duly in Order, and balance
on final discharge. The Policies to cover the Invoice amount. Freight, less any
disbursements or advances made to the Captain, to be deducted from Invoice,
and to be paid by the buyers or their agents at Port of discharge, free of
Commission. Should there be no Charter Party, the rate of Freight current at
time of loading to be deducted in Provisional Invoice, endorsed on Bill of Lading
by sellers and buyers, and paid by the latter on delivery of Cargo at Port of
discharge.
4. The Policies are to be for benefit of sellers, and are to be returned to
them on final settlement of Invoice.
5. The weight for the Provisional Invoice is to be calculated at the
Shipping Invoice weight. less
6. The delivery weight to be the same as that ascertained for Freight
without deduction, and the Certificate of the weight to be signed either by the
Captain, or by the Ship Broker; said Certificate to be delivered by buyers within
8 days from date of final discharge. The sellers may appoint an Agent to look after
the weighing, discharging and sampling of the Cargo.
